We hope you will find our website useful and informative and that it will inspire you to visit our school and meet our dedicated teachers and fantastic children.
Our principal aim at Lymington is to provide a caring and stimulating Christian environment where the children acquire the skills, knowledge and understanding to become active learners for life. They are encouraged to recognise the positive contribution that they and others are able to make to an ever changing diverse society.
We have a strong relationship between our school and St Thomas’ Church and work alongside our Governors and in partnership with parents, carers and members of our local and wider communities.
In June 2016 our school was rated ‘Outstanding’ for our effectiveness as a church school (SIAMS) and noted, “the care of pupils is a strength of the school which results in highly positive relationships between staff and pupils.” This helps us to provide a well rounded curriculum where individual talents can be spotted and nurtured to ensure all children experience success and fulfil their potential.
Our website is only a glimpse of what we feel makes Lymington Infant School distinctive. The best way for you to appreciate what we can offer your child is to experience our school first hand. We warmly welcome visits to the school from prospective parents and extend an invitation to parents, families and local residents to attend our community events and services.
